Hey Reader, Our son graduated from high school last June. I created a photo collage for the celebration that is still displayed in our home. It has many ribbons, awards, and trophies. Just from the photos, I remember every one of these events like it was yesterday, including the bear hug he gave me that bruised my rib when he dropped 7 seconds on breaststroke. (It is his least favorite stroke, but he was so excited!) The pain was totally worth it. 😉 There's no place I'd rather be than on the pool deck or in the theatre, watching him do what he loves. So naturally, he has his share of ribbons and trophies , but he's content to get rid of the ones that clutter his room and are not meaningful.
