Hey Reader, We’ve had a year. My husband and I are ready to say goodbye to 2025. In case you’re new here, both of his parents passed away this fall, just two and a half months apart. It’s been devastating, but also, we are grateful. We had time with them over the past few years, took them on trips, and made memories. The grief is still heavy, but we did our best with the time we had. There were moments when the caregiving was also heavy, and I wondered if this business was still the right path. So, I hired a coach. Best decision of 2024. He helped me become a stronger coach, see how my work is evolving, and reconnect with the bigger message I have to share. As we look ahead, I’m holding hope that 2026 will bring better health for our family… and even more clarity and growth for Simply Enough Amy. You’ve probably noticed: my coaching isn’t just about decluttering anymore. It never really was. Because the stuff behind the stuff is life.
In 2026, my coaching will continue to evolve—into Life and Business Coaching for Women Who Want Less—but Better. And don’t worry, it’s still 1:1. That’s my one offer. Because it works. Coaching lights me up. (Just ask my husband—he sees the smile on my face after every call, or hears me leave a voice memo on Voxer.) This fall, I tested something new: a 4-week Business Bootcamp for 12 women entrepreneurs. We focused on:
It was wildly successful (and so much fun). At first, I wondered—Who am I to teach business? So now, it’s your turn. Hit reply and tell me—in one sentence. Keep it easy. I read and respond to every reply, and I promise you’ll see articles, videos, and resources from me that speak directly to your goals. I’m taking some time off over the holidays to rest and recharge, but it would mean the world to me if you filled my inbox with your hopes for the new year. Let’s chart our paths together. All my best, P.S. The next round of Business Bootcamp kicks off in January. If you're an entrepreneur who wants support with client attraction, your offer, social media, and calendar planning—this is for you. It’s free, but space is limited. |
I’m Amy Slenker-Smith — business coach for professional organizers. You’ve been booking paid clients for a while now. But you’re still undercharging, overexplaining, and piecing together an income. You’re not new. You’re stuck. That’s what we fix. Sign up here to learn more.
Hey Reader, I was on vacation last week. Somewhere between sandcastles and sunscreen, we loaned our old purple shovel to a family setting up their tent. We've had that shovel for fifteen years. It's built more sandcastles and dug more holes for umbrella poles than I can count. The next morning, I realized we never got it back. My heart actually skipped a beat. I coach people through letting go of thirty years' worth of stuff. I'm not supposed to panic over a plastic shovel that cost three...
Hey Reader, Next week I'm taking ten days off. And for the first time in a long time, I'm not dreading the leaving part. Two years ago, I nearly closed this business. I wrote about that here. So it means something that this week, everything is tucked in. My clients are cared for. They know I'll be checking Voxer and text in the evenings, not on demand. And then I'm gone. It reminds me of my corporate days — when I'd hand things off knowing the work would hold without me hovering over it. I...
Hey Reader, There's a version of this story where I walk away. Where the weight of everything — a father's cancer diagnosis, my in-laws' failing health, my son's near-fatal accident, a business I'd spread too thin — becomes too much. Where I decide the most responsible thing I can do is quit and focus on my family. I almost told that version of the story. I'm so glad I didn't. By the summer of 2024, I'd been in business eight years and I was spread thin across too many offers. Then my dad was...
