Hey Reader,

I heard that the video link in this email did not work. (Oops!)

Let's try this again:

- This is the link to my latest video that I mentioned below.

🤞 Fingers crossed!

Until next week!

PS. My original note 👇

Let's talk about your next decluttering project. I really believe there is a right way and a wrong way to approach this work.

So many people tell me they struggle to get started. And when they finally do, they dive in, make a big mess…and then run out of time and energy. What’s left behind? Unsorted piles of trash, donations, and keep items all jumbled together—with no clear path to finishing.

I do NOT want this to happen to you.

So, before you start any project—big or small—there’s one step that changes everything:

Set up your workspace first.

Yesterday, we were assembling a new bed frame, and before we even opened the box, I emptied the room. Not halfway. Completely.

I removed every piece of furniture, emptied the closet, and even took decorations off the shelves and walls.

Why?

Because when the space is clear, you can move freely. You don’t have to stop and shift things around. You don’t trip over what doesn’t belong. And most importantly, you give yourself room to breathe, experiment, and choose intentionally.

This is the heart of my method:

👉 Remove everything
👉 Reduce what you don’t need
👉 Return only the very best

When you do this, it’s amazing how often a space organizes itself.

Whether you're refreshing a room, editing your wardrobe, or just tackling that one overflowing drawer, start here. You don’t need more bins. You need more breathing room.

What space are you working on?

Until next time,

Amy

PS....Want to see how this method works in real life? I made a quick video to walk you through it—and explain why it makes decluttering so much easier. You can watch it here.

Just something. 🎥 I made a quick video to walk you through it: ✨ Ready for more support? Join the free 5-Day Reset: From Cluttered to Clear. Short,...

Hey Reader, Last week, a client shared something all too familiar: she can’t stand working in her home office. Every day, she moves her laptop to the couch or the dining room table—not exactly ideal or ergonomic. When I asked why she avoids her office, I already knew the answer. It’s the family dumping ground. Every drawer is packed with paper. Finding anything important feels like a chore. She even had to reorder her son’s birth certificate—because it vanished into the mess. If paperwork is...

Hey Reader, I had the honor of joining Shannon Leyko on her top-rated show, The Paring Down Podcast—and I’m so excited to share it with you. We had a real, honest conversation about how comparison (the sneaky kind) often drives clutter, overspending, and overwhelm without us even realizing it. We talked about: how advertising shapes what we think we “need” how social media fuels the “not enough” feeling and how to come back to what really matters—to you This was such a joy to record, and I...
