Hey Reader, Thank you for all the advice! So many of you shared your thoughts about the dance of kids coming home, leaving again, and all the little ground rules we need in between. Hereâs my favorite one: âIf youâre staying here, please let us know what time youâll be back. Not a control thing, but we have a life tooâand we want to know if the person coming in at midnight is you or an intruder.â ---Alicia Yes! đ We have a life too. (If youâre new here, my son Zack just wrapped up his first year of college. And now my dining room looks like this đł) To be fair, thatâs a drastically reduced pile. We worked together, and he unpacked quickly. Whatâs left is already packed for his return in August. Now weâre turning toward summerâtwo weddings, a beach trip, and a few more adventures. Because around here, itâs always: experiences over stuff. If you want to follow along and see how I travel light, live with less, and enjoy moreâyouâll find me over on Facebook. I share real-life tips (and maybe a beach photo or two) nearly every day. And if youâre planning a getaway this summer, try a little minimalist packing. It makes travel lighter in every way. P.S. Quick poll before you go:

Or they feel frustrated because no one else in the house seems bothered by the clutter. đĄ...
Hey Reader, I just started working with an amazing client, and weâre tackling a mountain of paper together. But hereâs whatâs so excitingâshe found me through a podcast and told me she learned so much just from that one episode! So I thought⌠maybe youâd like to hear it too. đ¤ Because letâs be honest: the best part of decluttering isnât just the tidy drawer or the cleared shelf. Itâs that feeling when things finally start to leave your house and you breathe a little easier. You create margin....
Hey Reader, What if you had to carry all the clutter of your life in a backpack? I mean carry all the things that are weighing you down physically, mentally, and emotionally. What would be inside the bag? I can tell you what's in my bag, and I even tried to carry it. There were coffee mugs, books, stuffed animals, baskets, photos, kids' artwork, china, water bottles, electronics, and even a yearbook. And I captured the journey in a new video project thatâs coming this summer. 𼳠Itâs a...
