Hey Reader, Thank you for all the advice! So many of you shared your thoughts about the dance of kids coming home, leaving again, and all the little ground rules we need in between. Hereâs my favorite one: âIf youâre staying here, please let us know what time youâll be back. Not a control thing, but we have a life tooâand we want to know if the person coming in at midnight is you or an intruder.â ---Alicia Yes! đ We have a life too. (If youâre new here, my son Zack just wrapped up his first year of college. And now my dining room looks like this đł) To be fair, thatâs a drastically reduced pile. We worked together, and he unpacked quickly. Whatâs left is already packed for his return in August. Now weâre turning toward summerâtwo weddings, a beach trip, and a few more adventures. Because around here, itâs always: experiences over stuff. If you want to follow along and see how I travel light, live with less, and enjoy moreâyouâll find me over on Facebook. I share real-life tips (and maybe a beach photo or two) nearly every day. And if youâre planning a getaway this summer, try a little minimalist packing. It makes travel lighter in every way. P.S. Quick poll before you go:

When I coach clients, we talk a lot about creating margin. Not just in our schedules, but in our homes. I use a simple three-step method to help clients declutter any space: Remove.Reduce.Return. Can you think of a space in your home that needs more margin? One that would be easier to use (and easier to organize) with a...
Hey Reader, It was a work-hard/play-hard week at the beach for me. My coaching clients and I have been diving into everything from using up inventory to organizing foyers and closets to letting go of sentimental items and even calendar organization. Iâm so grateful for everyone I get to serve as their coach. Those conversations stay with me and allow me to help more people every day. Congrats to my dad âłď¸ My dad shot a hole-in-one on 4th of July. I'm so happy for him. And I had to share it...
Hey Reader, Did you catch the podcast episode last week? Deanna is such a thoughtful interviewer. I loved our conversation. Several people told me it gave them the clarity and motivation they needed to begin decluttering. đđť Thatâs why Iâm reaching out with a small favor. Would you forward this email to someone who might need that same boost? Maybe theyâre overwhelmed and donât know where to start. Or they feel frustrated because no one else in the house seems bothered by the clutter. đĄ...
