Hey Reader, Can I be honest? I’m breathing a little sigh of relief now that the holidays are winding down. Yes, I know New Year’s Eve is tomorrow—but the most intense part of the season is behind us. Thankfully, tomorrow I'll be on the couch watching football. 😉 Because this year, it was just… heavier. Maybe you felt that too. Maybe, like our family, you were grieving someone who wasn’t at the table this Christmas. The first one is no joke. I’ve talked to so many others who’ve said the same—and I can confirm: it’s true. It’s hard. Even as we slowed down and stayed close to our immediate family, the absence felt loud. So I’m giving myself time. Before I rush into planning 2026, I’m taking this week to look back.
That’s something I’ve learned again and again, both personally and professionally. Last year, my goal list was long. Too long. I set myself up to fail by chasing too much at once. This year, I’m playing a different game. As my business has evolved into Life & Business Coaching for Women Who Want Less—but Better, I’ve seen the results change too—for my clients and for me. That’s what I want for you, too. So before you write your 2026 plan or vision board or goal list, I want to ask: What Good Came from 2025?Even if it was a hard year, what moments, choices, or shifts are worth carrying forward? That’s where momentum comes from. In life, in decluttering, and in business. I’ll be sharing my own (highly curated!) 2026 goals next week. But for now, I’d love to hear from you: What are you carrying forward into 2026?Reply and tell me. I read and respond to every single message. Wishing you a peaceful turn of the year, P.S. If one of your goals includes simplifying your business, filling your client roster, or finally creating consistency and margin in your calendar... The next Business Bootcamp kicks off in January. |

Hey Reader, I’m finishing up my homemade gifts today—brownie mix in jars, homemade vanilla extract, taco seasoning, and hot cocoa with homemade marshmallows. I know that might sound like a lot. But as I sat at the kitchen table this morning, cutting out gift tags, I realized how little time I spent shopping this year. And because of that, I had time to make these gifts slowly, to enjoy the process, and to look forward to delivering them between now and New Year’s Day. In years past, we’d pack...
Hey Reader, We’ve had a year. My husband and I are ready to say goodbye to 2025. In case you’re new here, both of his parents passed away this fall, just two and a half months apart. It’s been devastating, but also, we are grateful. We had time with them over the past few years, took them on trips, and made memories. The grief is still heavy, but we did our best with the time we had. There were moments when the caregiving was also heavy, and I wondered if this business was still the right...
Hey Reader, After the season we had, it was bound to happen. The dreaded stomach flu took me down this past weekend. I’ll spare you the details, but it knocked me flat. And yet… I didn’t panic. No emails. No coaching calls. No social media. Just rest. I took my own advice and stopped everything. Why? Because I could. I’ve simplified my life and my business in a way that made space for rest—even during the holiday season. Christmas will still be Christmas whether I do it all or not. (And at...
